Mission Statement

The Northwest Montana Nature Photographers club welcomes anyone who enjoys and wants to learn more about photography, and to participate in a supportive environment where amateurs and practicing professionals share their interests, experience, and knowledge. Reach your full potential as a photographer!

History

The Northwest Montana Nature Photographers was formed in 2013 in an effort to bring together local photographers to share their interest, experience and knowledge and as stated in the mission statement, to facilitate the full potential as a photographer.

Meeting Schedule

The meetings are held in Room 38 at the Gateway Center on Hwy 2 W. in Kalispell the third Thursday at 7:00 PM. The meetings typically include a short business meeting followed by a photo or photo related presentation.   The presentation is often by a local known professional photographer.

Outings

The NWMNP does not sponsor photo outings.   However, the club does provide information regarding outings held by the NANPA - Nature Photographers of Northwest Montana (Meetup Group).  There are several participants that belong to both clubs.   See http://www.meetup.com/NANPA-Nature-Photography-Group-of-Western-Montana/ for more information.
